lol

I started playing with droste (thanks to Pisco Bandito, {aka, Josh Sommers}) over 6 or 7 years ago and I've not stopped since Erisian; now you have the bug too. I do feel sorry for you. lol

Dare I mention Peirce Quincuncial? Yup, call me Dr. Feel Good. lol

:)

It is getting close to Easter and besides, PC should be having all the fun with eggs. lol

Took this seamless texture that I created a few years ago to make it. Sorry about the seams; cleaned them as best as I can, but the white really amplifies the imperfections of this method unfortunately. :)

That's excellent. This one started off as a knotwork attempt but I got carried away! This is a mirrored Droste tile.

lol; you will get taken to all kinds of side steps as you experiment Erisian. Again, I feel sorry for you. lol

As a side note, I did update the tut once again to add the concentric circle trick. This trick helps fill in the inner circle instead of getting the hole that you might get otherwise. :)

The whole Mathmap is pretty incredible, especially the map section. I've been playing around with IFS Iterative. Unbelievable!

Hey guys, how is everyone? I have a quick question. I changed systems lately and am trying to get my version of gimp back to par. Got most everything but mathmap and for the life of me I cannot remember who I installed it. I am running Mint 12 but have not been able to find a version for linux. Any ideas?

I know; I know. Just couldn't help myself. lol

Same tut except all the steps from Pan to Bow and up need to be replaced with extracting the bird, then rotate it with tail pointing towards 0,0 (upper left) corner. Then run copy rotate n-layer Script-fu using 0,0 coordinates (90 deg. increments, so there will be 4 birds). Now, continue the procedure as outlined. :)
