Brought tears to my eyes as I lost my Great Dane last October. I did have a smile though at the bit where he had to lift his back end into the truck, I had to do that with mine.

Sorry to hear about your baby Deb. My boy (cat Sock's) is sleeping on my ottoman right as I type this. Sad to see them go; Dad lost 3 cats over the years, his last boy Cat (Mom hated him so he never got a proper name) passed on at 14 years old just last year. All these amazing creatures are still in my memory though. They each had their own personality and sometimes little things that I see with other folks pets brings back those memories.
