Here's a black & white pencil sketch of the tree. I thought it was interesting, especially since I'm more of the type of person who likes to use color.

And, a large, bumpy old log we cut down.

Two more. I'm creating a colored pencil effect by using the G'mic Black & White: Pencil, with the Layer Mode set to Value (note: you'll need to adjust the opacity).

Amazing work. The black and white one looks like winter and the log is incredible.

Erisian,
Thanks. I, too, really liked the way the log turned out. It truly looks like a highly detailed colored pencil-type sketch.

I think this one is funny. She thinks she's a lion or tiger!

We estimate this wonderful, old tree to be over 200 years old.

The veins of a leaf, backlit by the sun, and then processed.

These are just weeds, but I like how they look with the sun shining through them.

The cat's gorgeous and the weeds too. Never forget that weeds are just wild flowers. They too can be beautiful.

Erisian,
She's a wonderful, silly, and often strange cat! We love her (most of the time, haha).

Aren't they all? Cats are adorable - they have a lot of character.
