Does anyone here know how to create ebook covers in gimp? is this eve possible or will i need another program?

They are just images, so sure. (I prefer inkscape for such layout tasks, though, personally) Here is a good read:

If you want pro results i can do the box in 3D Box Shot Pro for you.
I just need the images you want on it. :)
Make the images the same size you want the

Gimp can definitely do it. This is what I used to make my book covers for my layer mask ebook as well as my replacing picnik book!
