I'm not exactly sure what type of flowers the orange ones are. Note: Photos were enhanced with Gimp and G'mic.

The flowers are beautiful but I prefer the not so obvious - the subtle colouring in the grass. The grass photo is excellent!

Yes, there is something serene about the wild grass photo.

Here's an old friend; my kids used to climb this tree when they were children.

The orange flowers might be indian paintbrush but it's hard to tell from them being so close.

Could be... It's a very old wood, probably one of the oldest parts of Swindon, and most of the trees in it are very old. There are a few younger ones growing in the lighter areas though.
