It was raining really hard today and at one point I saw mama cat, soaking wet, heading for the stone barn. So, I followed wet footprints, and found the kittens again. They're nice and plump, and their fur is not as wiry. They also look a lot more like kittens!

Adorable... such blue blue eyes! And the hair is much fluffier and shinier. But I am worried about this one. His eyes (especially his lefteye-cameraright) seem watery and maybe infected. I think it needs medical attention.

Or is it just sleepy or just woke up... or is he just being squished by the other kitten?

I noticed that too. I think it needs some kind of eye drops.

I suppose you can keep watch on the eye, and if it doesn't improve in a couple days, off to the vet with it. All the kittens are so cute!

I would love to see these kittens but my browser won't show the image for some reason. I agree with 2-ton. It might just be a minor infection that clears itself. When my stepson was a baby, he used to wake up with his eyes glued together and we used to have to bathe them with cotton wool. It didn't last long and no medication was necessary. Don't know if this applies to kittens or not.

That's strange that you can't see the image Erisian. What happens if you rightclick on the image and click "Copy Image Location" and view that jpg... can you see it then?
Well anyways... this is the jpg image here with imageshack hosting:

Aaaah! They are soooo gorgeous! Thank you Barbie. I want to pick them up and cuddle them. Sadly I just get an error message when I try view image. If I click on the title, it shows that it's loading but doesn't actually load.

Barbie, 2-ton, and Erisian,
You might be right. The one kitten, smaller than the other two so I'm sure he/she is the "runt", does seem to have a little bit of watery eyes. We'll try to keep an eye (no pun intended) on it, but the Mama cat keeps moving them. This is the first time we've seen them since we first posted their images. On a side note, the mama cat belongs to the neighbors, and she's locked in their house all day. This makes me wonder if the kittens are eating enough, though they are VERY plump! When the neighbors get home today we're going to drop off the kittens, in the hope they'll take them into their house.
