how do I keep the top bead from overlapping? Also, is there an easy way to make a second layer match the first one or is it trial by error...mostly error, lol. I made a sparkle layer over the mardi gras bead layer but couldn't get them lined up perfectly after a bunch of tries, so I just left it random.

You just have to keep experimenting with your brush spacing. I found it really difficult to get right so I just cut the beads and put a gold link there instead. I don't know how you would line up your sparkles. You've done a beautiful job there 2-ton, that's a lovely blue.

very pretty 2-ton.
I just use a sparkle brush and put a few random ones here and there.

Technically the sparkles should all be at the same place on all beads.

I agree, where the light hits, they should be all the same, but if the beads are not all perfectly round I think some of the edges can catch sparkles in different places.
Anyway, 2-ton you could paint one of your beads on a layer, then put a sparkle on it and save it as a brush. If you do that, then you will have the sparkles all in the same place on each bead when you do your stroke.

I also see the problem with the beads over lapping at the join. I don't know if there is a fix in this method or not.
