What's a Redfield-Droste Rod? While we are on the subject, I noticed this program (
http://sourceforge.net/projects/drdroste/) at Sourceforge, but it's either buggy or I'm too dumb to figure out how to use it. lol

Well i used mathMap Droste and Redfields lattice, also map to gradient (my steel Cable Gradient)
I took a white image
I opened Redfields Lattice program
I created a lattice i liked
Then i ran that through MathMap Droste
After that gradient map.
Thanks for the link Lyle.

Here is how the program works Lyle
You select an image and then use your mouse to select a Droste area.
click the number spirals
The sliders work like this
Max Recursion - recurrence of the image downward
Alpha Filter - takes out those overlap lines when spirals overlap
Rotate - rotates the entire image effect.
Check out this example chart

My results from those settings

Cool program and i bet it can do some phenomenal things once you get the hang of it.
Great find Lyle!
