She has something weird (i.e. in the hands) but weirdness here seems adapt to the character

i like the colors and that..stick or weapon or instrument she is holding

Thanks PC. The right hand needs work. The stick is the technological equivalent of a sorcerer's staff. Magic? Technology? What's the difference?

The left hand looks unusually flexible but the right hand is too wide and square looking and hasn't got a thumb.

As a possible source to the question of

There will be a time according to the Asgard mythology that Magic and Science as we know it will become one and the universe as we know it will drastically change. Who knows maybe that is the first step Erisian.

Like the way your paint strokes add dimension particularly in the arm. The overall image, though looks too dark to me but that might be what you were going for so that is more my taste then a critique to your cool result Erisian. :)

Thank you very much Lyle. My problem at the moment is my seat is low and the LCD screen high so I can't see the correct values when I'm painting. At the end I kneel up on the chair and do a levels adjustment. I might be over-compensating and probably need to take a break and look at it again before adjusting the levels.

Improvements:

1. Improved hands.
2. Added dark green to the shadows.
3. Lightened the image.

Interesting character! I like the design of the staff. Good work!

As far as critique, I think the lighting and shading works pretty well. I must have missed the first version, so I couldn't tell you if it's better or not. The right arm looks a little flat to me, though.

But I just spent the past few minutes staring at step7's illusion and now -your- drawing is moving!

No - that's the drawing that's moving. Strange isn't it? Do you think some highlights on the fingers is what's needed? The staff was easy. Draw a straight line then add bits here and there as they occur to you. Thank you for your comments.
