These were made using the shape paths script and Mathmap's Enhanced Pond filter.

Your all welcome. It's nice to be able to give something back and it's an easy way to be creative when you're not feeling inspired in other ways. :)

Sort of reminds me of diatoms so I guess StarPond is appropriate. Cool stuff Erisian. :)

Thanks Lyle. It was the obvious choice for a name after Star (shape paths star) and pond (Enhanced Pond).

Those are pretty cool. They have different aspects to them. They seem snowflake/star like, molecular, decorative, psychedelic. I'd only seen mathmap referred to in vague terms. It doesn't seem to be available for Linux at the moment anyway. Thanks for the brushes.

No problem. You can use Mathmap in Linux. Molly uses it in Fedora. She'll probably tell you how.

Yes, I have mathmap but I got a lot of help with it cuz it is quite different to install in Linux. I will look to see if I still have any of the directions. If not, I know some one will help you set it up.

I'd appreciate it if you could find the directions. If not, there's no rush, I'll get to it eventually. I've done some compiling but it's been a while. I'm kinda like you, I like things to just work.

If you run into problems, just give a shout to one of the Linux users, lol. I am a fairly new Linux user so I am still in the process of learning all, or some of the commands to get from one place to another.
Good luck Bug. Mathmap is a great feature.

Will do, thanks. I'm not feeling adventurous at the moment but I noticed the writer is a Ubuntu user. My distro is based on Ubuntu. So, that ought to keep things simple enough.
