I would like to find a program to screen capture vids with sound...
Free, of course.
for Mac OSX
Easy to use...I need it to be very easy to use because I am very technically challenged!
And lets one capture sound from the internal speakers/sound card. I have quick time that will record the scree, but you have to do all sorts of technical rigamarole to get sound into the recording.
purpose...to be able to capture different videos with sound, not necessarily from youtube, but that I run across in other websites. Right now I wanted to share a small MTV interview with someone in Toronto who cannot get it via the link because it is blocked in Canada for whatever reason.

when something is blocked in your country, you can try using a proxy (google it)

whenever i want to grab a video or a picture that has no download-option, i use a firefox add-on called flash-got:

Have you tried the latest quicktime or jing?

quicktime works fine for video but there is no audio unless you download soundflower and switch the sound from the internal speakers to soundcloud. Then You cannot hear what is being recorded, and there are comments that the sound quality is crappy. I think there is also a way to hook up cables for sound in and sound out, but that is beyond me, lol. I have never heard of jing, I'll look into it.
