I like this one, definitely a 'keeper'
Did not bother converting to rpm with alien, just unpacked the .deb It runs here from my home folder although I did copy to /usr/bin, might move it back.

Big thanks to YAFU for pointing it out

Sorry Paul, but there are no available packages for Windows or Mac yet.
But Qbist (Filters>Render>Pattern>Qbist) is about the same thing. :)

Browsing around the evolvotron homepage
http://www.bottlenose.demon.co.uk/share/evolvotron/
There are lots of links, one of them was for an older application 'ImageSpace'
homepage is http://imagespace.sourceforge.net/ and there is a binary compiled for windows.
Runs in WinXP and looks like this. Not as snappy as evolvotron but there is a setting for transparency which is useful.
As with evolvotron you have to play around until you get something you like. Then Save It, you might never see it again.

Please help me. Pattern generators can be very addictive...
I'm constantly opening evolvotron and change functions for new patterns.
Here two patterns generated:

And playing with them (layer modes, Bucket fill, etc):

I think you got the infection from either PC or Lyle, not sure which. :rofl I wouldn't look too hard for a cure just yet. Looks like your results are worth the suffering.

A pattern generator without a seamless option ?
but if are not seamless are not patterns at least no much usable as patterns

Results looks nice , and make seamless with gimp it is not that hard but i would have preferred as option of the program
