is there a script/gmic for making a watermark, or perhaps a tutorial?

I'm pretty sure there's a watermark filter in G'MIC. I can't remember which section it's in though.

It's in Degradations and it's called Visible Watermark.

thanks guys.
The g'mic one is easy....and has some nice choices. Just gotta remember it goes onto the active layer, so a new layer blank would be a good thing to put it on.

In the G'mic window Input/Output section, change the Output to new layer...
