Bonjour,

I will propose a series of scripts to create geometric shapes.
A script-fu can call G'MIC functions, this is not the case with "GFIG Gimp" (The plug-in that allows geometric figures).
The ideas are well come.

My first script creates a star :
Filters > G'MIC > Testing > Samj > Dessiner une etoile / Draw a star

Assistance in the English translation would be welcome :tyspin

Looks cool samj; would like a smoothing feature to help with aliasing though. :)

:tyspin Lylejk

I've added 3 options at the end of the parameters :
- Flou / Blur
- Spread
- Deformation

*************
image = Flou / Blur + Deformation

Thank you for the ideas :)
1- At first I'll make some basic shapes (stars, polygons, etc.).
2- Then I will create a script (or +) to position several basic shapes on pictures (In lines, circles, spirals, random ...).

*************

Update G'MIC filters to create star(s)

Update your G'MIC Rod & PC and find it under Testing or the great, spiky yellow blob will come and get you.

@Molly
I found your first animation very interesting :bigthup I would perhaps suggest a script that does this type of transit.

Very nice indeed, I'm really happy to see Samj tweaking G'MIC scripts to make new effects available for the GIMP plug-in :)

Bonjour,

Merci David :tyspin

another script to create polygons :

Filters > G'MIC > Testing > Samj > Dessiner un polygone / Draw a polygon

(update G'MIC filters)

Hi there,
I just love trying out your scripts. I had a little play with samj's polygon script and decided to submit it as my first post.
(I've been lurking long enough) ;)

@BigBob

Thank you very much for your first post and welcome :)

My next script will be on the ellipses (creation of "flowers")
