spoke to my mum on the phone tonight. my dad's not well, he is in hospital after an operation that seemed commonplace enough but something seems to have gone wrong. he's a doctor himself so when he is worried about it there's cause to worry. so, any prayers and sympathy you can spare for my dad and me and our whole family is welcome.

I had just reconnected via facebook with my cousin after 30+ years, we were supposed to get together for my birthday this weekend and catch up on each others lives. She died last night a few minutes after we spoke. Her dog is sick and was stressing her out. Seems like all we can do sometimes is be there for each other.

I lost my grandparents 2 years ago (about 5 months apart) so I have lost loved ones, I'm sorry to hear about that sir.
