There has been some conversations lately about the difference between Vector graphics and Bitmap graphics. I thought I'd post this for anyone that doesn't understand the difference yet. A bitmap is just a flat image with a lot of colors. A vector however consists of hundreds ans occasionally thousands of elements. Each one of those elements has to be made individually. In explaining the difference to a friend of mine I made this little movie. I've posted a link to it 'dissecting' a vector.
