i've been playing with paisleys (surprised?) and i think this one turned out really nice. i used erisian's glass text tutorial (http://www.gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=5126) because i wanted the paisley to look like it was under a thin glass coating. i post the xcf in case anyone will want to try this paisley themselves!

Thank you. I had to create a bevel from the grey layer, merge it down and create a "metal" paisley as in my glass text tutorial. I pushed this to the top and used burn and screen layers.

aaa-haaa... i have to play a bit more with this one!

thank you erisian. i wasn't much good with gloss, so i made a dark picture where gloss doesn't matter so much.

It still looks lovely and glassy. Who needs gloss?
