Yes, this is a partial vent, but also had some cool customs but it does perturb me when highschool kids where plain street cloeths but expect me to give them candy anyway (and I do; I'm a sucker. lol). I started geting the final touches ready at 4:30 and additional setup between 5:15 and 5:45. Officially it was to be between 6pm to 8pm but I had stragglers as I was putting up the animatronics up until a little after 9pm. lol

What a pain; back's hurting now, but it was another success. around 30 to 40 less kids this year then last though. Just wanted to vent and maybe others here do as well so have at it. lolol

:)

We don't get trick or treaters out here, not even one. The only decorations I put up is a skeleton hanging by the neck from a rope on a flag pole. I had to take it in yesterday because the winds from Sandy were too strong and I was afraid it would get ruined.

We always do trunk n treat, it's a safe event for kids because even though we live in town we never get any kids on our street. This year we had planned to go but I got the chance to go see my mom, whom I haven't seen in 7 years and has been placed in hospice (or so I'm told) and I thought that was more important.
I know what you mean about teenagers but I don't mind, I guess I'd ratherthey be doing that than something they shouldn't be doing. They're at that age where looking cool takes precedent over everything else.

I've had one trick or treat in the last 5 years but then again, I don't decorate either.

Guess I'll be eating all the candy again this year. :hehe

I'll be at Tux's next year dressed as a penguin.

Shucks, I missed out on the Reese's candy bars. I used to make popcorn balls when we lived in the stix and I got to eat them all too. good planning.

Molly, I can't wait for the election to be over, I am sick to death of the vitriole from all sides. I hope it isn't so vile at election time in Canada!
