Most of those are indeed present either in img/ or in Tango ( themes/tango-icons )

Are you using a shadow build in Qt creator?
If knotter.exe is not in the directory containing the data files, it's normal that it cannot locate resources.
If the executable is in the right directory but still gives off those warnings, It's back to debugging

Everything is very good - you just have to add the required Windows files.

Everything is working well for me, 0.8.0test3 (vista32).
Manual loads in default browser.
No crashes or issues yet.

Ok Mattia; tested your version from Sourceforge as virgin (none of MareroQ's files from directories) and it worked great. I even tested the GIMP Python plugin (modified the path since I placed the directory in program files (x86) since I'm running Win7) and it worked fine too. Not sure how useful (python plugin) will be since I rather just run the program stand-a-lone and import the SVG file as needed. Cool stuff and thanks again for sharing your gem with us and also thanks to MareroQ who's now a QT program compiling expert for use very novice Windows users. lol

One more request. You may have not had a chance yet, but was wondering if you would post your Knot alphabet character set maybe (yes, I asketh for too much; lol).

If only you know how happy I am with Knotter Mattia. Just wish there was a built in function to automate the text placement, but I can see how the program would get too big too fast if every function requested gets implemented. lol

I'm playing with a scripting engine, right now to allow custom cusp styles.
Maybe I can see if that can be used to implement plugins that would extend the stuff that can be created with Knotter.

I think it's possible to convert SVG to some font format using FontForge but that would take a lot of time I think so I'm not planning to do it.
If anyone wants to extend the character set and/or compile a font is free to do so; if they then agree, I can upload everything.

Completely seriously:
Your programme is ( it will be) ideal to projecting types fonts.
Necessary the option of "straight line of line" is and "bow" (among points).
I know you planned - ask in first order

I'm not sure about what you are requesting.
Can you show me an example? (a mock-up is fine)
