Oh Dear, the syntax is very different isn't it. ;)

Just a suggestion, for one at a time

A screen shot of Apophysis gradient browser
A bit of editing in Gimp
RobA's image-to-gradient script.

i have a RobA gradient to image but not a image to gradient ... or you refer to his script to sample gradient along a path?

err... good question, no

It is a context - script, right click in the gradients dialog.

A quick look at it and it is oldish, dated 2008, (edit correction: 2009) works ok here.

I can't figure out how to use the scripts, but I've made an xcf file of all the gradients in layers if anyone else wants to give them a try.

I got Gradient from Image to work and made these two gradients. They are in the attached gradients-2.zip file. Unzip and put in .gimp-2.8 > gradients folder.

How did you do that, Graechan? I had a look at the original code and gave up any thoughts of converting them for Gimp.

I used a script that runs any procedure or script on the layers of a Image and ran it on 'O's xcf using RobA's Gradient-from-image
