GIMP Version: 2.8
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 7
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

What I mean: File>New>Create>from Template drop down menu.

What I did: I've created a few templates of certain sizes and ppi's from images with alpha channel.
Original goal was to spare myself the trouble of adding transparency from Advance Options or from the layers dialog.

What happens: choosing saved templates creates new images without alpha channel. :hoh

What I need: remove those templates

Obviously, there is no files on my system with matching names. The information must be stored in one of GIMP config files.
The questions are: which file is it? if i replaced it with 'clean' config file, which comes with GIMP standard package, am I going
to lose other custom settings like added or changed shortcuts, workspace layout, etc?

Thank you in advance

;) OK, solved this problem as well. It's in the templaterc config file in gimp user folder. Opened it with notepad++ and deleted those entries.
