I know how to outline text but I was wondering if someone can tell me how to "outline twice". I'm not sure how to describe it lol but in this picture

if you look at the words you'll see that there is a text color, and what appears (to me anyway) to be two outlines over it. To get it like this, do I just repeat the steps that I made for the first outlining? If so, what size would I need to put when I go to "Select > Grow" (or shrink?) ?

I'm sorry if my post is a little hard to understand.. I'm not exactly sure how to word some things but thank you to everyone who replies ^.^

hm, the picture is pretty small :?

it looks a bit like a bevel

there is a filter for that, when you go to Filters -> Decoration

another easier method is presented in this tutorial
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LmW5ndn ... 0CE8219376

its just shrinking or growing selections and filling them on seperate layers with different colors
how much depends on various factors: text size, desired effect, etc.

just try different values, you can always undo what you've done ('Edit' -> 'Undo' or Strg + Z, or go the the 'History Tab')

does that help ?
