where did you get the smudge brush ?

Uh...I believe it came with the gimp standard brush pack. Use that brush that looks like a bunch of little dots, and then just smudge it out in little strokes at a fairly long rate.

Oh, yeah he says there's tuts for that out there and it's really easy to make a 'hair' brush. All it really is is just dots grouped together.

This is my first try at the fur. I can't find that video tutorial that was posted yesterday or the day before. I think it was in German or some other language.

didn't O make a spider brush that made cool fur? it was a long time ago, IIRC

yes she did but the fur one does a finer texture. I have that spider brush if you want it, It is the one we were using to make the slippers, boas and other stuff way back when.
I included two spiny and two spider brushes to make those sippers etc.
