molly: thank you! i'm sending this pattern to my spoonflower account, with any luck at all it will print well and i can order some fabric and sew stuff from it
.
erisian: thank you! i thought of fractals too when i saw the finished pattern.
akros: thank you very much!
he4rty: thank you! the pronounced contours were important, since the chinese cloud patterns i was inspired by has those.
photo comix: wow, those are all great looking! i agree with akros it's hard to pick a favourite, but
maybe number two (from preset in couleurs metalliques) and four (negative w enhanced contrast). i don't mind you using my pattern for anything and while it's nice to be credited i'm not too fussy about it. i don't have deviantart, but if it's not against any forum rules you could link back here.

did you mind if i made a Pattern/M3D maps pack with the seamless version (also from the other topic)
like i said before i don't mind one bit, but i'm curious to know what you're talking about
. what's a "Pattern/M3D maps pack"?
lastly i just have to point something out, though: the pattern was already
seamless. it tiles perfectly without being
symmetrical. whether the mirror-symmetry pattern or the original is more beautiful is just a matter of taste and i couldn't even decide which one i like best, but the
seamlessness of the original is a matter of fact, not of tastes, and since i'm fussy about seamlessness when i make patterns i want it to be perfectly clear that my original pattern was, in fact, seamless.
