Hey guys, ive looked everywhere but cant seem to find anyone who can do a good job, but i know most you guys are good at doing them. Was wondering if you guys could make a logo for me.

I have been trying to make a creative logo for my theatre company and cannot come up for one at the moment and have run out of ideas, so I come to you in desperation and in need of a logo please.

It needs to say Out Of The Box Theatre Productions. and have to have have a picture of a box, maybe drama faces and musical notes or something theatrical
Our website has been made and can be given if needed , it hasnt been properly made as I have only bought it an hour ago but that will be the template.
It needs to be theatre/drama/musical based.

It will be used in posters and t shirts etc in near future so High Resolution if possible please
It does have to have text and an image on it. and vibrant, so it stands out.

It has to have black and red mostly,


I want the logo to stand out and show everyone the obvious that we are a theatre company.
We want to target theatre lovers mostly. so theatrical and would like it to stand out.

.Our logo will be used on our posters, t shirts, programs, online. So we need it in different sizes, sorry to be fussy.
There is no particular font, as long as it is clear to see, it would be great. thank you.

Yeah, it is a non-profit organisation and it is based in Devon, England.

I don't know. The other thread has a website. And there's even someone named Moorhouse on their list of 'who we are'.

This isn't any sort of scandal, I went onto that website first, hoping for some sort of fast reply, and sadly didnt get any sort of reply yet. so after playing call of duty for a few hours someone said gimpchat is a helpful website, I can easily delete that post off that website and just keep the help off you in that case. as you can probably see from my website, it hasn't got our own copyright logo, its just a customized template, and I want a logo to start putting out on our business cards, posters etc. I did state I can give you the website because we need one desperatly.

I hope you dont seem to find me a scam, because Ive had a look at your work on other threads and you seem to do fine work.

So, my apologies, your first post had the form of a possible scam to me, as the non-profit status was not clearly established plus I'm a bit sensitive on crowdsourcing stuffs. But it's perfectly fine now, I edited my first post to kill the suspicions.

Some of us would be very willing to help you with this Logo to get you started and to help with ideas on setting it up, but you will probably have to start out with a size, colour, etc. to get it going and post it here in this thread.
Show us some kind of Layout. Maybe you could draw out on paper what you have in mind, scan it and post it here, also.

What experience do you have so far using GIMP? How large would the Logo have to be?

Just my suggestion.

We need it a decent few sizes. one probably avatar size forum. one a medium sized say standard photo size and a large one also.

It has to have colors of red and black in it, with a black background, for instance a quick one ive done is on here also.

I have only just found GIMP out and hoping to learn new things but class myself as a beginner here lol.

Here's my contribution, a box (free stock vector image)





we can colorize it and go on and add some more stuff to it.

I am not creative but I will make some things for ideas and we can put them together when we get more. I just changed the box color and added red text but I can change it to whatever after we get going. Or we can make the background black, whatever works I guess.

Only the initial concept - fast (script Samji Colorful Light Effect gimp and 2 brushes and gradients -1 minute)

I like the concept MareroQ. but because of the name, we need a box in in the logo, the found has asked for it. But I like the concept keep them coming guys.
