you're doing good, don't worry! i'm thinking we should ask our "teacher" here to add a little bit of face around his noses, so the whole thing gets really easy to understand. so far, you have a working profile view with a hint of 3/4 view at the tip and nostrils and if you look at an example that doesn't have the full context of a face i think it's easy to get there if you're not really used to 3/4 view already (it's my favourite angle for faces both in photos and paintings, so like i said i usually do better at noses in this view).

here's a rough 3/4 face - i see i forgot to make a line to mark the top of the nose for the near side, but never mind, erisian's example nose should fit into this view alright. you can see just a little of the far side nostril and nose wing, that's important.
now don't say things like "it looks nothing like a nose!" young lady
