The file is set at 1000 pixel resolution :lol Which means you can actually make each letter 1000x1000 pixels if you wish inside PhotoFont-Start.
It weighs about 64MB.I am uploading now. :bigthup

Rod this looks good but you forgot to copy the upper case into the lower case, it has left the lower case blank

I'm looking forward to more sets

No i copied the upper into the lower.Using shift + letter should give you caps and just pressing the letter will give you caps. There are no small letters with this font.Chris didn't make it that way.
Sorry.

Um ... and so what is a picture font? Apparently unusable for me. I downloaded the file, looked inside and froze my machine by double-clicking the contents.

Why would I want a picture font? Seems like I can make my own font fills using a regular font and a pattern.

O this runs with the Photofont Start Adobe plugin and PSPI.OR you can use the PHF file i created to load the images for you and not have them embedded.Of course that means you will only be able to use font images you create.
You would need to install pspi and the plugin or XnView or a similar program that runs adobe plugins and run the Photofont Start filter through that.Of course there is also Shellout.py.Thank you Rob!

Then just open the plugin from your favorite program and select install photofont.Browse to the PHF file you downloaded (Chris-Toast.phf), and click it.Photofont start will load it in and you will never have to load it again. It will stay installed.
On my machine selecting the PHF from the drop down list took several seconds. This is the largest one i have created yet so others will be probably smaller in the future.

Hope that explains everything O.I fixed the topic for others to know this is for Windows or Mac.Though the one i created that LOADS images is available and should work on any system.Don't quote me on that though.

Sorry for my not explaining that better before.
You can get more info here.- viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3827&hilit=PHF

Here are some free PHF files you can dl also. - http://www.photofont.com/photofont/get/free/

Again sorry for the confusion everyone. :)

Fontlab does not seem to be hosting the photofont start plugin anymore.
You need to download it from somewhere else.
like http://photofont-start.software.informer.com/2.0/

As far as i know there is only one way other than VERY expensive font software and that is with the Photofont PHF file i wrote and i believe you already have this. :)
You can find that here. http://www.gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3827

pirate541 you need to open Filters>Fontlab>Photofont Start and click the install photofonts button. Browse to the PHF file and select it. Photofont will install it for you.

Did you add a path to the 8BF binary using Filters>Photoshop Plugins Settings yet?
