I created some knots in knotworker, exported them as bitmaps and imported them as new layers in Gimp. Having cut out the white background, I used alpha to selection then selection to path and scaled the path up. After that I just played with layers selections and paths.

Those are excellent. I'm going to have to start playing with Knotter more.

@Erisian: You have been busy. Great stuff. :bigthup
I see you have one for you, AnMal and Molly, but where is the fluffy?
Do the rest of us just get the plain grey (generic) no named version?
;) :lol

Fluffybunny - I'm afraid it's plain old favouritism but for your cheek I just might do one for you.

Thank you everybody else.

erisian: :hi5 :jumpclap :clap that's stunning work! i don't seem to get anything nice with knotworker, (it strikes me now that maybe it's because they use the grid the opposite way from me) i'm so impressed with these nice looking knot panels and the knot bunny for fluffy. Image and there's one for me, too, thanks ever so much!!

:tyspin :jumpclap I'm known for my cheek ;) but just look at the result.
I love it! Thoughtful colour choices and in my name all in lowercase - you have an eye for detail.
Looks like I'm wearing a pair of 'Dame Edna' glasses :hehe

PS I like your sig, it looks to me like 2 green sea turtles kissing viewed from above ;)

Glad you like it. I'm afraid I couldn't be particular on the eye shapes at this scale but maybe Dame Edna glasses suit you.

I love these! And the texture you've added on the last image works really well :D I'll definitely have a look at knotworker!

erisian: wow - that perspective is dramatic! i bet that sculpture exists in some fantasy world where it is a gate to yet another world only people don't know about it because they've never dared to approach it. it's actually been considered both a sacred and a cursed object and travellers leave little offerings when they have to pass the plain where it stands. it's only when the wandering tinker woman's watch dog breaks loose and she runs straight under the sculpture as a short cut that she discovers it and ends up in ... eh, sorry. got a bit carried away there :hehe .

odinbc: with parts of it floating in the air? i think it must be the first leaked pictures of stonehenge 3.0...
