Sorry for my delayed response. Work and also helping Dad's cleaning nurse with a laptop isue (that's done; she'll be happy) kept me from posting and my emails to boot. lol

Looks promising Mattia. Very much look forward to seeing your efforts too. As to my brainfart, the Flutwave's is very limiting and only for bitmaps. I know knotter will not only be more posh, but also allow for SVG export. Another cool feature w.r.t. the fill is controlling the density of the fill of course (just adding to my wish list; lol). Very please with what you came up with Mattia and you deserve more then kudos. If I ever win the lottery, you will be the first to know. :)

Fill area doesn't seem to show either even though it is in the plugins folder.

Those plugins use the UiTools Qt module. Maybe you don't have it or you need to place a library file somewhere.

I've managed to complete all the scheduled features.
Expect the official release to come in a few days.

Actually i run knotter from the QT bin, and i add the data folder to the bin folder also.Used to work that way. :)

Hi Mattia.
What do you think about the opportunities available to test the dev version ?
(only if there is interest in this proposal ?).
Requires:
1. Available libraries (*. dll; directories: imageformats and date) - download only once (uncompressed 35 Mb).
2. File knotter.exe (small file) - According to a new compilation - here in the appendix (by Rod or my version).

It's OK for me. I'll try to enable zip uploads to the website so you can upload it yourself.
But I'll do this after I release 0.9.3 as making the release takes a significant amount of time.

Cool stuff Mattia. Is outlining and then selection the only way to define fill area? It still works great and will be a time saver for sure as is, but if you could define an area from a bitmap, that would be nice (do I asketh for too much?; lol).

Also, knotter needs an icon. I've been using the attached icon for quite a while (created from knotter then reduced the size of course). :)

I've added an icon for Windows. I hope it works. I'm re-uploading the package on sourceforge, it should be available in a few minutes.

Icon works excellent in Windows Vista 32 bit.
Thanks! :)

Oh, if you make very large knots and see that the canvas is getting slow, you can disable antialiasing from the preferences. That gives a huge performance boost (but will make the knot look a bit pixelated ).
With the new plugins is now easy to create very large knots.
