Works for me.
Steps-
1) Edit > Select all OR select all the nodes with the mouse
2) Edit Preferences and tick everything under "clipboard"
3) Edit > copy (Knotter-0.9.5)
4) Edit > paste (Gimp-2.8.4)

Pasted in as a PATH layer. :bigthup

That's OK but you should be able to paste the fully rendred raster image.

Anyways, I was thinking that there are a ton of dockable dialogs and that I could merge the knot style and selection style in a single widget that will affect the global style if nothing is selected otherwise the selection only.
What do you think? Would it be confusing?

Only Krita gives advice ...

PS. It seems that Gimp does not support the "Paste" png files with alpha (using the clipboard - with other programs).

Maybe it is also Windows , i believe solved with last releases but Windows clipboard had problems with Png with alpha channel

Problems "solved" by stripping away the alpha channel , and so removing trasparence

It is possible that Krita copes with png (with alpha using the clipboard) in Windows - because it is based on KDE?

Doesn't the insert polygon already do that?

I think that for that sort of effect you should use external programs.

I'm working on a new big feature: sliding the position of the crossing along the edge.

Are you referring to sliding the gap crossing area where you want it?

Wow; could be useful in creating a ninja throwing star Mattia. :)
