Issabella - I want to echo Diego's thoughts on your excellent works in this thread; terrific results.

I originally thought the tuts and resources here required GIMP 3, but I notice your signature says you use Gimp 2.10.30, so I might just have a look and see what it is all about

This process of creating a form of a cross-hatch sketch will work with older GIMP Versions.
