Addendum: just a note, Ella: when you apply mosaic with light grout, it could be better to use a lighter gray in creating the area borders (to have a "similar" colour separator).

You're right about the area borders. I see it on your latest outcome.

Indeed, mostly I don't like to alter people. I'd already tried a few photo's where I didn't like the outcome and then I don't post it.

As far as my blog is concerned, when I try to post a new image, the previous one disappears and is replaced by the new one.
I've tried it several times with the same result. It can't be that I've already posted too much.
When I look at the data : used: 66.18 Mb to use: 1.5 Gb
I'm now copying all my work to a new blog. When it's done I'll give you the link to it.

Tried with a difficult Duong's image; I had to apply a post-process step.

I still consider the saturation too high, but because it happens so often -also with other outcomes I see both here and on GL-, it's probably me...

Dinasset, it's often on some outcomes of mine, I think. But I can sure I reduce saturation greatly on the visible layer.
The problem it's that the original image comes with high Mean Value and Luminance. If I treat to correct it on the original image for a very start image, I don't like the result. So I don't know if I must reject that kind of images. :hoh

Anyway, I also look for challenges. :yes
