This started as a speedpaint, and I wasn't sure how it was going to come out. I need to do more tranquil scenes. They're calming to work on.

The deer is so lifelike looking. We see deer once in a while in the park, and yours is spot on.

I'm pretty happy with the deer. I usually don't draw animals. It helps that the parts of the anatomy I couldn't figure out are behind the tree.

There used to be a trail like this behind a house I used to live in. It was nice for evening walks

It was one of those little hidden spots in the city. The forest path was eventually torn down to make way for a condo, but it was fun while it lasted.
