Two star paths - scale one to half size
flip small star vertical
run path in-betweener - 50 paths
merge visible paths
stroke soft 1 pixel soft brush
alpha to select fill
new layer
colored money green
new from visible
If you do not have MathMap, get it. :)
Filters>Generic>Mathmap>Droste - wait patiently for render - have cup of coffee
new layer black and run super nova exactly center with color spikes

set black layer to hue mode. :)

Just the star after in-betweener , before Mathmap Droste, and with the colored nova layer added.

Rod, nice work but I actually prefer just the star on its own.

Thank you Anmal. :)
It only took about 12 minutes just in Droste alone. :lol
The entire image took about an hour to create.

Thanks he4rty. You really have to appreciate the complexity of Droste to like the outcome of the filter. :)

I love the pentagram star. Looks almost like origami.
