So I am exploring and trying to make stuff and practicing the techniques that I have been shown. Here is my first attempt.

I love this one Misty. The colours are great and I like the lively wisps. Did you use flame fractals for this?

Erisian: I did use a fractal, I think right EK? Uhm through Apophysis. I really liked the colors. I then went with the gold wired letters from the Lightning weave tut and just started playing with the Layer effects. This has Drop Shadow, Bevel and something else that made it all dark and what I see as like the reflection or glass shadowy edges. '

Yea Apophysis makes fractal flames. I think 2 years isn't all that long., in the grand scheme of things. Now that you caught the bug, I expect more pics out of you though.

Apophysis is a great fractal toy and layer effects is a great plugin. I think you'll be producing some amazing stuff in the future.

Very nice, like the text effect and the background although being made by a fractal has the feeling of brush strokes to it.
