Conbagui it needs a drop shadow on the text SHEER to display it's transparency

He did. "Sheer" is flat on the wood, "conbagui" is raised off the wood. That said, he did add a drop shadow off SHEER, and made the shadow on conbagui further away, as it is raised up.
