Two variations on your Sophine

variation1:
4 layers:
- retinex low 127 4 2 multiply
- retinex high 127 4 2 overlay
- autoequalize + colorize red overlay 60%
- original

Quite different takes on the image there! I like how the first one actually helps to bring out the skin texture a little more, but it is maybe a little too dark now. The second variation is pretty wild, like she's in a warm desert or under a red sun. It's interesting how the hue flips over into green in places in her hair. With those sharp greens around maybe it would be interesting if the tattoo were emphasized more.

Those are really good variations. I think I like the first one the best, it really brings out the skin structure while keeping the hues about the same. But also in the other variation you nicely kept the tattoo standing out and helping to aid the eye towards it in a good way. Cool!
