Good texture and colours Jynx ..just a bit too straight to be real ..you could try using IWarp on it, eg:

Thanks! I knew that this was far from finished and there are a few things I've worked out I need to do, but iWarp wasn't on my radar for steps to take next..
That will help a lot, especially around the roots.

Tree looks pretty good, maybe a bit over sharp compared to the other elements, I think still adding shading would do it some good too.

Yeah, you're absolutely correct. It's nowhere near finished, this is just the initial "groundwork" :hehe
