I'm trying my hand at a Van Gogh painting. I'm restricting myself to not use the smudge tool as a rule of thumb, so purely brush strokes at various pressure levels throughout. I've always wanted to attempt this art style. I've applied a finger paint texture, specifically G'mic's paint daub filter on an overlay layer at 70% opacity, and I think it works a lot better for this style of painting.



Still a lot to do. So far only the middle pear is close to complete.
