This time, however, I did it all in GIMP 2.7.3. Hated to have to import the SVG file (remember the voronoi threads a little while ago; lol) and then fill the islands, but I did do it that way (so please someone compile filesvg for me; lol). Anyway, I did do the glints differently this time. I used the Glossy Stroke 3D python plugin for that (pretty cool, at least to me). Hope to get off this binge soon. lol

:)

very nice L, the marbles in the center looks somehow richer in details and shades.

about the svg filter, i didn't check yet but i believe that if missed in 2.7.3 maybe was still in 2.7.2so may be easy as copy and paste

i am downloading gimp.2.7.2 in search of the missed plugins

If you figure this one out, please pass me the links; would definitely be interested. Rod posted on Partha's blog concerning this; maybe Partha will have a fix for us soon too. I really do want to start exclusively using 2.7.3 (still haven't found PSPI 64-bit yet compiled though) and hopefully I will soon. Very similar flow (other then a few hiccups) so think I will be happy with it. May even begin to play with Cage transformation too soon. :)

No the same plugins are not even in the previous version...weird

Lylejk why fight with the PSPI thing, the RobA xnview shell script works on 2.7 (well actally not for me but i just have to fix the path ) and xnview is a better alternative for run ps plugin

Because of GML Matting; also Impressionist doesn't work in XNView (does in Irfanview though), but it of course, with RobA's hack, work in GIMP too. :)
