Painting without a graphics tablet is teaching me to keep things simple and encouraging me to look again at light and try something different. I'm quite pleased with the results but Ioverdid the highlights and made her look plastic.

Middle third of the face does look a little plastic but I am amazed that you can do that on a touch pad!

Erisian: It's not that plasticcy, looks more like she has oily skin. In any case, I like it and I'm really enjoying al the stuff you do now. I think the restrictions of painting with a touchpad are good for you, you're starting to loosen up more and not get stuck in details.

This is a good study I think. Simplifying lines is tricky, clever idea to limit your tools!
