Different Effects Gimp Text (Show us yours using gimp)

Hi Sallyanne.

Very interesting different effects, but I want to propose their practical use.
If I am not mistaken GimpChat does not have its own Logo - maybe you can suggest a new thread with a "contest" for its selection?

Although custom fonts are usually intended for a slightly different purpose I have really enjoyed viewing all the contributions to this thread. There are some amazing effects here.

Great suggestion. However I do notice my bookmark of Gimp Chat has the 'pencils' logo.
The only one who can choose the winner and make use of it would be the Administrator/owner and he only seems to visit us on a rare occasion. Like the Banners thread we could start a thread for a logo though and maybe even a possible position for it to be put. If it is viable maybe Wallace will start a thread for one.
