Still re-hashing old stuff. For the curious, played around with G'MIC's Polygonize (Energy) and edge detect presets. Isolated the grid and then applied some Convolution tricks using original flower to get some detail back. :)

Oh yeah; forgot to mention I refilled the the background with black and meant to stroke just the outline of the flower but forgot to invert the selection. lol

Peach Rose Wireframe

OK; this time I stroked after inverting selection. lol

Original came from Free Foto Index so reference lost to time (well, too lazy to use wayback to find link). lol
