:tyspin OMG,
Friends of the forum, I started this thread, exactly a year ago, thinking I could keep it going for a few months.
I'm glad it lasted a year. Now it's time to wait for new ideas, if any come. I start a vacation.
Thank you so much for your enormous support and for your very positive comments, even with the obvious imperfections in my results.
If Diego Nassetti happens to see them, I'm sure he'll point out a ton of errors in perspective and execution. hehe
Thanks to everyone. :)

Wishing you a well-deserved, restful, and rejuvenating vacation.

Your art continues to win the wow award to me, Issabella. Like the cat one by the way; the fish came out excellent, too. Also, that last one (river-image) would make for an excellent visiting center logo for the region it represents; tee-shirts, car stickers, and fridge magnets would sell like hotcakes. :)

Issabella - forgive me please. I was away on holiday also and missed your post. Ditto all above member posts on what has been said about this wonderful thread and your works; it was fundamental in returning me to Gimp after my health problems last year. So thank you and please keep giving us the joy of seeing your new works.
