I'm delighted to see more stuff from you, Shock! I love the golden color in the surreal, landscape image and that chalk preset is great!

Perfectly !
Which version GIMP do you use?
Is this:
Gimp-Portable-2.73 GPS ?
http://www.graphicall.org/349
[Gimp 2.7.3 + Themes + GPS + GMiC (Partha)]

and perhaps other ?

Hy Ramon the image is great and i am happy that you start to port GPS preset and create new ones

i saw a bad news from Alexia about Gimp & graphic tablets on windows

Quote:
Just a note on the windows build, tablets on windows wont work es extended devices. So no pressure. GTK2 versions required for 2.7.3 are all broken in this regard. Unless someone fixes GTK for Windows that's how it's going to go out at 2.8.

It was solved or you swhitched to linux ?

EDIT
i looked better the screenshot...i see you switched to Ubuntu

@ MareQ
that should answer to your question too.
Actually would be very bad (not only for Digital painters but also for Photo retouch, expecially of old damaged photos if gimp-2.8 for Windows would be without tablet support...but seems nobody is trying to fix it also because it seems not a Gimp but a GTK windows-only bug, ...i believe not a single GTK developer uses Windows and that is very bad for the hopes in a quick fix

Thank a lot for your kind replies. I am glad you like it. To answer some questions briefly.

OS: Ubuntu 11.04
Tablet: Intuos 4 S
Gimp 2.7.3 from graphicall.org not partha release.

I see a BIG problem in GTK win users, if gimp 2.8 arrives without pressure because then GImp will be useless for Painters. so rude so real. we already have problems with wacom and this is not good. we have to be "geeks" sometimes. weird :S

About public releases i am refining the presets amount i see they are too much. and i think lighter but well choosen presets would be better. i am on it so any advices or comments are more than welcome.

Yes it will really be bad a so long expected new Gimp with broken support for tablets
The Gimp devs are already busy, and not directly responsable of GTK bug...put any more pression on them will be of not any good may only worsen

But maybe troght forum and blog we may find somebody ELSE knowing Windows and willing to found a patch for the GTK
(maybe who know even a call for help to wacom may help...even if we are just a niche in their market still we are client )

OOPPSS TheShock sorry for the almost OT , but that it is such huge obstacles for future projects

GIMP Paint Shop by Ramon Miranda aka TheShock
http://code.google.com/p/gps-gimp-paint-studio/
This is important for those interested in detail:
http://www.graphics-muse.org/source/GPS.pdf

For GIMP 2.7 I found:
http://graphicall.org/349

It works beautifully (also for 2.7.4 PARTHA) - except the installation of Portable XP 32 bit.
Everything works - only MATHMAP suddenly gives an error (weird - what relationship ??? - but I checked on different computers)
Any suggestions?

ps.In addition to the theme - but with the need to: Please download mathmap for Linux 64-bit (Ubuntu) does not work links - if someone can share?

@TheShock,
If you happen to use KDE as desktop: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?ac ... ent=114856
It contains install instructions.
It's working quite well for my Wacom PT tablet.
If you don't use KDE it probably won't work because it depends on KDE libraries.
Gerard.

Then you might have the necessary libs.
By the way Gnome and KDE won't bite each other.
Gerard.
