Still having a play with my speaker, used the Map object to add some perspective to it then extruded the rim out by hand and redone the cone so it worked better at the angle, then just played.

whoa, that is super awesome in every way !!!!!1

the aura is done with gaussian blur and wind ?

the lightning is major sexy too ! you made that with the path tool ?

The aura just used the wind tool, blurred Left & Right then rotated layer 90' and blurred again, then rotated back into postion.

The lighting did indeed start as a path, then I ran the alpha>neon script and finally mapped it to the incandescent gradient.

You'll find under Filters>Alpha to Logo>neon, you'll need to stroke the path first though on a seperate transparent layer.

this is great!!! the sound waves/light beams are beautiful and the speakers look good - i do think the music will actually be shut in between the speakers when they're put at that angle, though :hehe .
