Still experimenting. Separated the darks and the lights and created two stroke paths and different distances for the strokes to create the mask this time. Also working at techniques to clean to stones (not happy with what I had to do, but I think this comes close to getting away with this; lol). :)

Not having the wherewithal to do the mosaics, I was wondering if any of you experts know if the 'stones' can be brl'd into glass, shiny shiny glass stones or gems?

You can use whatever texture you want since the borders are transparent. BRL is a great idea, 2-ton. Still, I prefer texturing using patterns. :)
