Random Art Prompt II (next deadline Sunday Dec 12)

I started working in Bryce 3D and Daz Studio then finished the composition in Gimp and made improvements and ran Dream Smoothing. I wanted to overpaint it but I have started full-time support and matching to try and get a job so I don't think I am going to have enough time and energy. This is the result so far.

Interesting combination of tools and a nice result too. I like the lighting on the face, for being a 3D rendered face it looks pretty 'alive'! Her outfit (and the landscape) gives me an Icelandic vibe.

Erisian, I really like your image! Hopefully, you will have the time to finish it as you want it to be!

Hope it is OK to post a second image. This time it's a fantasy at the museum, where the red haired Viking girl has left her exhibit, is lost in time and finds herself in another era of Nordic exploration and adventure.

A second image is perfectly fine of course. A fun concept, always good with a little story to go with the image. I like the softness to her expression here compared to many of the other faces I've seen you draw.

That's some colorful sewer tunnels! One can certainly make out every little detail. The geometry of the tunnels to the right is curious - two tunnels meeting inside a larger vault. Very cool.

The Tank Stream (not actually a sewer) but originally an open creek flowing into Sydney Harbour. Then, over time, as the city grew it was modified to form an underground drainage system for the burgeoning city (now CBD area), using huge sandstone blocks.

Interesting information - some things one never would have expected to learn. Fun with added rats and text too.

(click for DA version)

I went with a different direction for this RAP, interpreting 'sewer tunnels' as the garbage chute of a a spaceship or -station. Painted from scratch. I was thinking of doing an astronaut being in the process of being sucked out, but I didn't have the time to spend on that.

Another random prompt!

Deadline: Saturday February 20
Prompt: Character - "A leader giving directions to his/her troops"

sallyanne · **Posted:** Sun Feb 07, 2021 1:59 am **(#25)**

Cheated with this one. Only sort of drew one stick figure then made a stamp and went from there.

Some things created and some things borrowed - my submission.

It certainly conveys the theme! If one wanted to over-analyze, I guess it could be seen as portraying how soldier and general are all the same ... or something like that.

That's a clever take on the theme, consider the recent news about GameStop buying etc. One could certainly imagine media/news anchors 'rallying the troops' (troops of which side depends on the media I suppose).

"The Beggar general gathering his troops".
