). Rings in space is a BRL from a gradient and rock steps is another brush.

Just wanted to say; I'm impressed with everyone's
contributions to this topic. I'm really enjoying the
variety of ideas with all the different rings. A lot of
it is beyond my capabilities. I'm a simple minded guy
and some of your ideas just blow me away, not to
mention I'm learning a lot which is what a forum like
this is supposed to be about... sharing, learning, and having fun.

That said I'm posting this one, a simple ring by all of your
standards but I just like the overall image.
This is my "Golden Knight."

Peter - excellent outcome; now you have me experimenting and, at times, just going around in rings ( :roll:

While this is not a gold ring, I have utilized
a lot of new techniques that I've learned here
to apply to this image and am liking the result.
Now I just need to figure out how to use it.

The Warrior - "Snarky much?". What do you mean about my post and what are you inferring, because as far as I understand, the word 'snarky' has quite negative connotations?

If you check my earlier posts I did ask Peter if I was taking the topic too liberally and also if it was OK to do so. Also Leopardo, myself and others have been discussing/submitting (both in this forum and Gimp Learn), ring outcomes based on various methods, one of which was a different approach posted in a tutorial by Gimper66. Both Leopardo and I did the tutorial and posted results and my comment was simply a reference to it.

Again, what do you mean by "Snarky much?".
