Thanks for the svg, been experimenting with a rusted look so tried it out on the image, hardest part for me is trying to get a descent background.

It has the look of some kind of stone. I have background trouble to. That's why I've posted them without BG's.

Hope Tux don't mind; only 8K. lol

I used Inkscape to fill the voids and used an exclusion for the head since it indeed contains 2 selections (one of them being the eye). :)

Easier to use in GIMP now. :)

Why not more play. Used an extracted black pearl as the target texture (source now unknown (got it many years ago) so don't use the pearl for commercial use or you might get burned one day; I only did the extraction). :)
